Graphic Designing

A 3 months practical course at Educator Computer Institute and College (ECIC). Build foundational knowledge, practise through structured activities and complete a portfolio project.

What you will learn

• Design Foundations: Design a poster with three clear levels of information.
• Typography and Colour: Create a typography and colour style sheet for a brand.
• Raster Image Editing: Produce a social-media composition with a clean background mask.
• Vector Illustration and Logos: Develop three logo concepts and refine one with a rationale.
• Brand and Social Media Design: Build a brand kit and five coordinated social posts.
• Print Preparation and Portfolio: Submit a portfolio with a poster, logo kit and print-ready flyer.

Course materials

Included in the course: written concept notes, guided practice instructions, assignment briefs, assessment rubrics and module knowledge checks. Learners retain their editable project files and reflective notes.

Course structure

Six modules, twelve text lessons including six practical assignment briefs, and six quizzes with eighteen questions. Practical assignment submission is arranged with the instructor.
